This didn’t turn out great but I love the idea — would definitely give this another try.
Brew Stage: Completed
Recipe Inspiration from: Marie Porter @ Celebration Generation
Must:
- 1L Lychee Juice
- 1L apple juice
- 1 cup strong black tea
- 2nd gen yeast slurry from previous brew (Cyser)
- 500g sugar
- 1 can lychees in syrup (started with fruit in a nut milk bag but removed bag and just added the lychee fruit directly a few days in)
- water to 3L mark (or target gravity, whichever is more)
Additions:
- ~1/2 cup erythritol
started
removed bag and added fruit directly to fermenter
Racked, degassed, and added erythritol to taste. Bottled (made 3 standard + 2 and a bit 500ml bottles)
