Simple, easy to drink white wine
Brew Stage: Completed
Primary:
- 2 bottles white cranberry juice (~3.78L)
- Sugar, boiled in cranberry juice – added to acceptable gravity
- 1/2 package Lalvin EC-1118 Yeast
Note: Made a syrup with sugar and cranberry juice (1/2 cup juice for each 1 cup sugar) and added until target gravity was reached or the container was full
Additions:
- Before Bottling: 105g Erythritol
Simple, easy to drink white wine
This got relatively poor results in a family taste test. It's still one of my favourites in the series, though. Would definitely consider making again—probably in a larger 3/5 gal batch. May consider adding less sweetener in future versions. My last test tasted a bit candy-like.
